Fat Hen Farm is a community farm and enchanting wedding and event venue located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Great Gransden in Cambridgeshire. Our farm works in harmony with nature, producing vegetable boxes for the local area while offering the community opportunities to learn, grow, share, and support each other. We use only natural farming methods and encourage wildlife, creating a magical, peaceful environment where visitors can fully immerse themselves in nature.

The land itself has a mix of open spaces, young woodland, market garden style veggie beds, two camp fire spots and a pond. Secret tunnels weave throughout and we also keep some friendly animals that love to have visitors.

As part of the hire you get use of our 30ft x 50ft traditional pole marquee.

We are an outdoor venue and specialise in creating unique events for festival and Boho-style weddings from June to September. There is plenty of space for food vendors, a bar, a dance area, and space for live music. Additionally, we allow you to bring your own alcohol without any corkage fees. Guests are welcome to camp overnight, bringing their own tents or hiring our bell tents for a glamping experience.

At Fat Hen Farm, we provide as much or as little assistance as you need. We have lots of experience hosting events and we can create bespoke options personalised to your vision. If you want extra support with your wedding, we offer a planning service priced at 7% of the total package hire.
